The Team

Yvette and Glenda connected at the age of 12, sparking a friendship that would span decades. Their separate travels around the world provided them with invaluable experiences and shaped their aesthetic sensibilities. Reunited in Oaxaca, they discovered a shared vision, fueled by their love of fine wine and engaging conversation, and Vesuna was born. Inspired by the goddess of abundance, their brand encourages others to embrace the richness of life, appreciate the present moment, and find joy in connection.

Yvette Garcia

Growing up in the vibrant tapestry of Los Angeles, Yvette developed a discerning appreciation for eclecticism that would define her adult sensibilities. In her mid-twenties, an innate wanderlust propelled her on extensive journeys throughout Europe, Asia, and Australia. This inherent curiosity, further cultivated by her academic pursuits in Comparative Literature at UC Berkeley and enriched by extended residencies in Sydney, Lisbon, Mallorca and Oaxaca, illuminated a central tenet for Yvette: the true art of living lies in the refined enjoyment of each passing moment, particularly within the esteemed circles of acquaintances cultivated through her travels. A particular delight for her is the occasion to revisit a favoured locale and reconnect with cherished companions over leisurely repasts, characterized by jovial conversation and an abundance of exquisite fare and libations. Recognizing the intrinsic worth of these shared experiences, Yvette, in collaboration with Glenda, established Vesuna with the express intention of crafting similarly exquisite and enduring moments for the discerning individual.

Glenda Goldschmied

Glenda grew up in an atmosphere of creativity and inspiration. Her roots are in Asolo, a small town in northern Italy, where she spent her formative years until her family relocated to Los Angels. One of the most lasting impressions on her was the memory of her mother organizing dinners, aperitivos, and parties, filled with elegant attention to detail mixed with a vibrant eclectic style. This love for not just entertaining but also crafting beautifully curated environments that encouraged conversation among friends continued to inspire her, leading her to cultivate her own unique hosting approach. It was during her university years at Central Saint Martins in London that she refined her aesthetic sensibilities, broadened her perspective, and developed her artistic vision, paving the way for a career in the visual arts. Ever restless and curious, Glenda now lives between Oaxaca and Italy. No matter where she found herself, she always embraced her passion for hosting, showcasing her distinctive style and focusing on crafting enchanting environments that foster connection, beauty, and camaraderie. This is the spirit that she and Yvette aim to embody in Vesuna.
